Offgrid Power

Information you enter
The app lets you enter power setup details such as battery chemistry, battery capacity, nominal voltage, solar panel watts, inverter size, appliances or loads, usage hours, and display preferences. This information is stored locally on your device so the app can remember your setup.
Location
If you allow location access, Offgrid Power uses a foreground, one-time approximate device location to calculate daylight and solar estimates and, for Pro features, request weather conditions for that area. The app does not use background location tracking.
Weather and forecasts
Pro forecast features may use Apple WeatherKit to retrieve weather conditions for your current area. Weather requests are handled through Apple services and are used only to estimate solar potential inside the app.
Local history
The app may save a lightweight local history of daily estimates, including setup values, expected solar gain, expected usage, net result, weather condition text, and confidence labels. This history is stored on your device.
Purchases
If you purchase or restore Pro features, Apple processes the purchase through the App Store. Annisoft does not receive your full payment card details.
Tracking and advertising
Offgrid Power does not contain third-party advertising trackers and does not sell your personal information.
Data sharing
Annisoft does not operate an app account system for Offgrid Power and does not intentionally collect your setup, load, location, or history data on Annisoft servers. Information may be processed by Apple services when required for App Store purchases, location permission handling, WeatherKit, or operating system features.
Your choices
- You can deny location permission and still use manual/offline estimates.
- You can change location permission in iOS Settings.
- You can delete app data by deleting the app from your device.
Children
Offgrid Power is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest version.
